I’m having feelings cause one of my favourite books no longer hits like it once did. I remember loving this book so much and reading it so often, feeling such a strong connection that I can still see the afterimages, but no longer feel so viscerally when reading.
Actually posted a review for this a week back - my first in a while. Is this a sign? I don’t know!
Was blown away by Hari’s holistic approach to mental health in Lost Connections and as someone with ADHD am already appreciating his research into the increasing lack of focus in society today.
Reminding myself that WoT is a marathon not a sprint and taking a break to read something else for a bit before I dive into the final two books.
There’s something extra rewarding about finding a book (or two or three) I’m looking for secondhand. Now my collection is complete! (second slide)
Secondhand book shopping!
