Is this my book of the year? Maybe... to be honest I've read so many truly fantastic books this year its actually a bit hard to keep up with the ones that I love the most. 🔥 I read GoPaF in one day and that should tell you all you need to know about how much I loved it. I am so bloody stoked to have a lesbian romance at the forefront of a fantasy series, and an amazing one at that. 🔥 This book is perfect for fans of Laini Taylor and Sarah J Maas, and I expect to soon see Natasha Ngan listed among some of the biggest YA authors. Finally, I'm reading this absolute masterpiece of a novel. Usually when I'm sick I turn to the tried and true writings of the lovely Ms Carriger, but with my TBR in the state of shambles that it is I decided to instead pick up something new but in the same vein. ⚓ I will admit that I had been putting off reading this because I was in such a slump when I first got it - I was so nervous that I would be in such a bad mood I wouldn't be able to enjoy it!!! But now, barely 20 pages in I can safely say that I am having a grand time reading about the struggles of my namefellow. She's just too damn relatable. My reading slump is finally over!!! 😂😂 I'm back to writing reviews too, so get keen for blog updates over the weekend. 📓 I've never actually read the book of a game before, and I will admit I bought this one because I thought it would extend the story but in that regard I was dissappointed. On the other hand, I had such an amazing time reading this and there is so much more detail and clearer explanation than in the game I think I finally understand what the hell was going on!!
